The Wildcats鈥� two-way senior star was named Big 12 Player of the Year in a vote by the league鈥檚 coaches.

Netz was one of four UA players to make the All-Big 12 first team, along with Dakota Kennedy, Miranda Stoddard and Sydney Stewart. Kaiah Altmeyer, Regan Shockey and Jenna Sniffen made the second team. Sniffen made the Big 12 Freshman Team. Netz and Kennedy made the All-Defensive Team.

No. 2 seed 蜜柚直播 will face No. 7 seed UCF in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Softball Championship on Thursday in Oklahoma City. UCF topped Utah 7-5 in the first round on Wednesday on a walk-off homer.

Netz became the sixth conference Player of the Year in UA program history. After missing all of last season because of a back injury, Netz has provided power and production from the circle and the plate in 2025.

Netz ranks third in the Big 12 with 20 wins and sixth with a 2.00 ERA. She鈥檚 11th nationally in fewest walks allowed per seven innings (1.11).

Netz ranks third in the Big 12 with 17 home runs and second with 58 RBIs to go along with a .347 batting average. She also has a 1.000 fielding percentage while splitting time between pitcher and first base.

Netz became the first Wildcat to hit a home run and throw a perfect game in the same game on March 27 against BYU. Earlier this month, she was one of 12 college players to be drafted by the .

Kennedy earned first-team all-conference honors for the third straight year. The junior left fielder, who missed almost a month because of a hand injury, is batting .439, which would lead the Big 12 if she had enough appearances to qualify. Kennedy also has a .526 on-base percentage and 16 extra-base hits in just 114 at-bats.

Kennedy has yet to commit an error this season, leading to her second consecutive All-Defensive Team nod. Kennedy earned a as a sophomore.

Stoddard rivals Netz in terms of two-way contributions. The grad student has a 12-0 record with a 1.81 ERA in the circle; the latter ranks fifth in the Big 12. Stoddard also is hitting .367 with 13 home runs in 98 at-bats. Her .837 slugging percentage ranks second in the league.

Stewart, a junior, is in the midst of a breakout season after transferring from Washington. 蜜柚直播鈥檚 primary catcher ranks sixth in the Big 12 in batting average (.376), fourth in home runs (16), third in RBIs (56), second in on-base percentage (.548) and third in slugging percentage (.789).

Altmeyer earned all-conference recognition for the first time in her career. The junior outfielder is batting .361 and is tied for the Big 12 lead with 16 doubles.

Shockey, a sophomore, ranks second in the Big 12 with 74 hits and 50 runs scored. She ranks fourth in the league and leads 蜜柚直播 with 20 stolen bases in 23 attempts. Shockey, who鈥檚 batting .400, also leads the Wildcats with seven outfield assists.

Sniffen鈥檚 standout freshman season includes a .328 batting average, 17 extra-base hits and just 10 strikeouts in 137 at-bats.

NiJaree Canady of regular-season league champion Texas Tech was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Year, and the Red Raiders鈥� Gerry Glasco was named Coach of the Year.
