ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ saw the most amount of rain and lightning so far this monsoon between Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
Severe thunderstorms started Tuesday afternoon with heavy rainfall ramping up in the evening hours and early morning Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥.
The northside along the Catalina foothills and the northeast side near Tanque Verde saw the most amount of rain, said forecaster Kiera Malarkey. She estimated those areas saw two to three inches of rain, while more central parts of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ saw half an inch to an inch.
"(Thursday) looks to be more of a down day," Malarkey said. "The rest of the week is looking like every day there's a chance for some showers, but nothing super significant."
