ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥â€™s softball team now has two additions in the transfer portal from Big Ten schools.
The Wildcats added second-team All-Big Ten pitcher and Iowa transfer Jalen Adams, who entered the transfer portal on Thursday, according to .
The right-handed Adams joins former Indiana pitcher Jenae Berry as much-needed pitching pick-ups for ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ in the transfer portal this year.
Following its season-ending loss to Ole Miss in the NCAA Regional in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ lost most of its ‘25 pitching production. Big 12 Player of the Year Devyn Netz, Miranda Stoddard and Saya Swain ran out of eligibility, while Aissa Silva, Brooke Mannon, Ryan Maddox and Sydney Somerndike entered the transfer portal. Silva transferred to rival ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ State last week.

Adams comes to ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ with a year left of eligibility. The Fort Dodge, Iowa native and Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year has a 45-34 record in 102 appearances and a 2.26 ERA.
Adams started 78 games and has pitched 518 innings and 245 strikeouts over her three-year career. She allowed a combined 454 hits, 222 runs and 39 home runs at Iowa.
As a junior, Adams had a 25-6 record and a 2.18 ERA (third-best in the Big Ten) with 130 strikeouts. She also pitched five shutouts in 2025, the fifth-most in the Big Ten. Adams had the third-most starts by a Big Ten pitcher in 2025.
Adams could conceivably become ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥â€™s next ace pitcher and be a part of a nucleus of standout catcher Sydney Stewart, center fielder Regan Shockey, third baseman Jenna Sniffen and shortstop Tayler Biehl.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ is returning just eight of the 22 players from this past season.
