FRISCO, Texas — The Big 12 announced its all-conference team on Monday and the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Wildcats didn’t have anyone selected.
The Wildcats were blanked from the preseason All-Big 12 team after having five players last season.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, Oklahoma State, Houston and UCF were the only Big 12 schools to not have any players on the all-conference team.
The defending Big 12 champion ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ State Sun Devils had the most preseason All-Big 12 selections with five: quarterback Sam Leavitt, wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, offensive lineman Ben Coleman, defensive lineman C.J. Fite and safety Xavion Alford.
ASU didn’t have anyone selected to the preseason All-Big 12 Team last season and was voted to finish last in the conference in 2024, but won the conference championship in the program’s first season in the Big 12.

Leavitt, who transferred from Michigan State last year and led the Sun Devils to the College Football Playoff, was also named the preseason Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez, after leading the Big 12 in tackles (126) last season, was named the preseason Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
Utah quarterback and New Mexico transfer Devon Dampier was named preseason Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. The former Scottsdale Saguaro High School star combined for 390 all-purpose yards against ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ last season.
