The ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Wildcats came in at No. 22 in the initial set of released Tuesday afternoon.
The surging Wildcats have won four games in a row and captured the nation’s attention behind sensational sophomore quarterback Khalil Tate.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ (6-2, 4-1 Pac-12) made its first appearance since 2015 in the AP Top 25 on Sunday, landing at No. 23.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥â€™s inclusion in the CFP rankings does not mean the Wildcats have a legitimate chance to participate in the four-team playoff. ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ has two losses and an underwhelming non-conference schedule. But it’s a mark of pride for a program that went 3-9 last season.
Four other Pac-12 teams made the CFP rankings: Washington (12), USC (17), Stanford (21) and Washington State (25).
