Nathan Kropp wanted to spice up his life last year.
The 35-year-old insurance claims adjuster is a lifelong 蜜柚直播 sports fan who grew up in Phoenix.
Last summer, he decided to turn his passion for professional sports in 蜜柚直播 into his lifestyle and set a personal goal: attend 150 sporting events in a calendar year.
A year later, he accomplished his goal and attended 82 蜜柚直播 Diamondbacks games, 43 Phoenix Suns games, eight 蜜柚直播 Cardinals games, 13 蜜柚直播 State football, hockey and basketball games, three days at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and a Phoenix Rising soccer match. One of the ASU basketball games he attended was at McKale Center in 蜜柚直播, a 113-100 win for the 蜜柚直播 Wildcats.

鈥淚t all started, because I wanted to break into the social media world,鈥 Kropp said. 鈥淭hese days, a lot of people break into the social media world by doing crazy challenges. I got tired of just sitting at home. I decided, 鈥榃ell, I go to 80 events a year anyways, so let鈥檚 just go to 150 games ... and it鈥檚 kind of changed my life. It has put me on the map and it鈥檚 been an incredible experience.鈥
Once his project was underway, 鈥淚 decided, 鈥業 need to make this more entertaining than just saying you鈥檙e going to every game,鈥欌 Kropp said, so he 鈥渄ecided to sneak a rotisserie chicken into a Diamondbacks game.鈥
Traditionally, sporting events don鈥檛 allow outside food or drinks, so Kropp thought about tactics to hide the food.

鈥淚 was sitting outside of the stadium, duct-taping it and putting inside my shirt, it鈥檚 110 degrees outside,鈥 he said. 鈥淚 have two hoodies on and I鈥檓 like, 鈥楾his isn鈥檛 going to work.鈥欌
Kropp Googled: 鈥淒o the D-backs allow outside food in?鈥
Sure enough, Chase Field doesn鈥檛 prohibit fans from bringing outside food, as long as it鈥檚 in a clear bag. Fans can also bring non-flavored, non-carbonated water in sealed bottles, sealed juice boxes and empty plastic water bottles.
鈥淚 was like, 鈥楾here鈥檚 no way,鈥欌 Kropp said. 鈥淚 walked in with a rotisserie chicken and they were like, 鈥榊eah, you鈥檙e fine.鈥 I was like, 鈥楾his is going to go viral.鈥 I just started taking food for every game I went to.鈥
Kropp brought rotisserie chicken, alligator, duck, meatballs, 40-ounce tomahawk steaks, a Little Caesars pizza and other food items to Chase Field in the last year.
鈥淧eople ate it up and it was a lot of fun,鈥 Kropp said. 鈥淭hose were some of my best videos when I first started.鈥
Kropp鈥檚 content-creating skills focused around food and 蜜柚直播 sports. Many of the athletes and Phoenix sports figures 鈥渉ave become friends,鈥 Kropp said.
鈥淭hey鈥檝e become friends because I make videos and they鈥檙e like, 鈥楾his stuff is fun,鈥欌 he said. 鈥淭hey follow me where to go out to eat.鈥
Former 蜜柚直播 Diamondbacks second baseman Junior Spivey, whose son Tre Spivey III is entering his first season as a wide receiver at the UA after transferring from Kansas State, sent Kropp 鈥渁 text the other day and said, 鈥楧ude, whenever I want to find a restaurant, I go to your page and your videos and that鈥檚 where I go out to eat.鈥欌
鈥淚t鈥檚 crazy, it鈥檚 an unreal experience and it鈥檚 so much fun, because a lot of these guys I look up to,鈥 Kropp said. 鈥淣ow, they鈥檙e having conversations and some of them have gone out to dinner with me.鈥
Kropp has dinner plans in the near future with 蜜柚直播 Diamondbacks legend Luis Gonzalez, who hit the walk-off hit to win the franchise鈥檚 first and only World Series. Kropp has filmed food-related content with several Diamondbacks and Cardinals players.

Kropp鈥檚 social media breakthrough has landed him a few dining experiences at 鈥淭he Ra Ra Room鈥 at PHX Arena, which requires a $15,000 annual membership. One of his friends 鈥 鈥渨ho I consider a booster鈥 for 蜜柚直播 sports, Kropp said 鈥 took him to The Ra Ra Room 鈥減robably like five times, which is surreal.鈥
鈥淭he food at Ra Ra Room is some of the best food you鈥檒l ever get,鈥 said Kropp, who ordered the Carbone spicy rigatoni vodka.
Out of the 150 sporting events Kropp attended, the most memorable moment wasn鈥檛 luxurious pasta before a Suns game. His top two moments were being on the field when fans rushed it during the chaotic 蜜柚直播 State-BYU football game in Tempe, and the Diamondbacks rewarding his journey by allowing him to throw out the first pitch before a home game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Memorial Day.
鈥淭hat鈥檚 going to be something I remember for the rest of my life,鈥 Kropp said. 鈥淭hat was such an incredible experience.鈥

After breaking his personal record, 鈥渕y main focus is growing my social media platforms,鈥 Kropp said. Kropp 鈥 also known as 鈥淢r. AZ Sports鈥 鈥 can be found on , X and TikTok.
鈥淚鈥檓 trying to get 100,000 (followers) across everything,鈥 Kropp said. 鈥淚鈥檓 going to still try to go to every game, but maybe not day games with the D-backs because those games are tough. I鈥檓 still looking at about 125 games a year. I don鈥檛 take as much food to games anymore because I have so many videos that I鈥檓 making with athletes these days. My doctor told me I need to eat more salads.
鈥淥ver the next five or six years, just get to 1,000 games, get over 100,000 followers, continue to grow and continue to bring positivity to 蜜柚直播 sports.鈥
