The ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ men's golf season came to a close Wednesday morning after the Wildcats missed the cut by a stroke at the Amherst Regional at Poplar Grove Golf Club in Virginia.Â
The final round on Tuesday was suspended due to weather concerns, but resumed play Wednesday morning.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ entered the final round of the Amherst Regional, which was hosted by Liberty, in fourth place, but carded a 6 over and dropped to sixth place, missing the five-team cutline to advance to the NCAA championship.
Collectively, ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ shot 10 over and finished behind Oklahoma (10 under), Vanderbilt (6 under), Tennessee (5 under), Wake Forest (1 under) and Pepperdine (9 over).

ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ juniors Filip Jakubcik and Zach Pollo were the UA's highest finishers and placed inside the Top 10 on the individual leaderboard. Jakubcik, who also had a Top 10 finish at the Big 12 championship, entered the final round in second place after shooting a 65 (5 under) on Monday. He went even on his final round and ended the tournament tied for fourth (4 under) with LSU's Gunnlaugur Arni Sveinsson. Pollo was tied for 10th at 2 under.Â

The Wildcats' third-highest finisher was senior and Chandler native Johnny Walker, who was tied for 34th at 5 over for the three-round tournament. Walker, Griffin Rhoads, who finished tied for 78th at the Amherst Regional, and Jackson Norwich are the only three seniors for ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ this season.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ ended the 2024-25 season with two tournament victories: the Windon Memorial Classic in Illinois and the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Thunderbirds Intercollegiate at ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Country Club.Â
The NCAA championship will be held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., May 23-28.
