ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ added depth to its quarterback room with the addition of former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Braedyn Locke, who committed to the Wildcats on Friday morning.
Locke, a Rockwall, Texas, native, played the last two seasons at Wisconsin after starting his career at Mississippi State in 2022. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
In two seasons at Wisconsin, the 6-foot, 205-pound Locke completed 240 of 448 passes for 2,713 yards, 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. In a blowout win over Purdue this season, he passed for 359 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Wildcats lost second-year quarterback Brayden Dorman, former San Jose State backup Anthony Garcia and Northern ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ transfer Adam Damante to the transfer portal, but return walk-ons Cole Tannenbaum and Mason Bray, who is the son of the late Heath Bray.

ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ also signed two quarterbacks to its 2025 recruiting class: Gilbert product Luke Haugo and Dallas native Sawyer Anderson.
Anderson was previously committed to Purdue and was recruited by Graham Harrell, first-year ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ offensive coordinator Seth Doege’s mentor, who was fired earlier this season. Anderson was committed to Purdue since 2023.
Doege is listed as the primary recruiter for Anderson on . Anderson committed to the UA over Purdue, Colorado, Miami, Mississippi State, North Carolina, TCU, SMU, ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ State, Ole Miss and Missouri, among others.
The 5-11, 177-pound Anderson was a four-year starter at Parish Episcopal High School in Dallas and completed 859 of 1,320 passes (65%) for 14,674 yards, 158 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. Anderson’s career passing yards are tops in Dallas-Fort Worth high school football history.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ has six quarterbacks for 2025.
