June is traditionally a month college football programs pick up commitments for the upcoming recruiting cycle, and the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Wildcats got their first batch of commits this summer.
Three-star Gilbert offensive tackle Malachi Joyner committed to ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Sunday evening. Three-star Utah defensive end Harvie Moeai committed to the Wildcats on Monday.
The 6-4, 295-pound Joyner pledged to ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ over Minnesota, Hawaii, Boise State, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, San Diego State, UNLV and Montana, among others. Joyner, who is entering his senior season at Gilbert Williams Field, is rated by as the 17th-best overall prospect in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ for the ‘26 recruiting cycle.

The 6-4, 225-pound Moeai, a soon-to-be senior at Skyridge High School in Lehi, Utah, committed to ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ over Washington State, Fresno State, Cal and UNLV, among others. Moeai is the first defensive lineman added to ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥â€™s ‘26 recruiting class.

Moeai is also the seventh commit of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥â€™s ‘26 recruiting class, joining Joyner, Seattle-area tight end Henry Gabalis, Dallas-area receiver Caleb Smith, Bay Area offensive lineman Michael Langi, Chandler defensive back Hamisi Juma and three-star linebacker Dash Fifita, who is the younger brother of UA quarterback Noah Fifita.
Joyner is the second offensive lineman in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥â€™s 2026 recruiting class. Joyner and Juma are ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥â€™s in-state commits for ‘26.
