Here are notes and takeaways from ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥'s second session of training camp, as it prepares for the season opener against Hawaii on Aug. 30. 

* On the first play of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥'s team period, wide receiver Chris Hunter caught a 60-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Noah Fifita — the second period-setting play in as many days. Hunter caught a 40-yard touchdown on Wednesday.

* Fifita completed a slant pass to Chattanooga transfer wide receiver Javin Whatley for a likely touchdown.  

* Safety Dalton Johnson intercepted a tipped pass. In the same period, free safety Genesis Smith had a pass deflection. 

* One of the top performers at defensive back on Thursday was San Jose State transfer cornerback Michael Dansby, who had three pass breakups. Potential starters at cornerback could be Texas transfer Jay'Vion Cole and returning starter Marquis Groves-Killebrew, but Dansby is another rising player in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥'s secondary. 

* ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥'s first offensive line was Ty Buchanan, Michael Wooten, Ka'ena Decambra, Alexander Doost and Tristan Bounds. The second unit was freshman Louis Akpa, Albany transfer Chance Roberts, Grayson Stovall, Ise Matautia and Matthew Lado. 

* Several NFL scouts from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Cardinals, New York Jets and Los Angeles Rams were in attendance.
