Five Democrats and three Republicans will face off Tuesday in their respective primary elections for the vacant 蜜柚直播-area U.S. Congressional seat.
Democrats will decide between Adelita Grijalva, Daniel Hernandez, Deja Foxx, Jose Malvido and Patrick Harris, Sr. Republicans will choose between Daniel Butierez, Jimmy Rodriguez and Jorge Rivas.
Voters elected Democrat Ra煤l Grijalva to 12 terms in the U.S. House, a post he held until he died in March, at age 77.

Completed early ballots can be submitted at in-person voting or drop box locations on Tuesday, Election Day.
There will be 58 vote centers open Tuesday across Pima County. Find them by visiting . They will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 14.
Voters can also drop off their early ballots at the Pima County Recorder鈥檚 Main Office, 240 N. Stone Ave., and at its Eastside Office, 6920 E. Broadway.
Additionally on Tuesday, 13 vote center locations will be open in Santa Cruz County, eight will be open in Maricopa County, six will be open in Yuma County, three will be open in 蜜柚直播 County and three will be open in Pinal County.
As of last week, there are 261,668 active voters in Congressional District 7, according to the Pima County Recorder鈥檚 Office. Among them, 110,530 are registered Democrats, 54,348 are Republicans and 92,274 are independent voters, the office says.
The Recorder鈥檚 Office sent a total of 131,635 early ballots and have received back 49,757 ballots, or about 34%, from voters as of Saturday, July 12. Of those returned ballots, 45,256 have already been turned over to the elections department, the office says.
