A 15-month-old was among several hikers who needed to be rescued Sunday from the Seven Falls area of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥'s Sabino Canyon, authorities said.
The rescue started about 2 p.m. Sunday when Pima County Parks Enforcement/Rescue and the Southern ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Rescue Association were called to help a hiker suffering "heat-related" injuries.
Rescuers arrived and found that a total of seven people needed help, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Five hikers were airlifted from the area. Three of the rescued hikers, including a 15-month-old child, were taken to a hospital, the release said.
