Some members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ have decided to put their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris for President in the 2024 election, which is a less than traditional choice for this conservative and mostly Republican religious group.

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris went on the offensive during a campaign stop at the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥-Mexico border Friday, calling out rival Donald Trump for "abdication of leadership" on immigration reform and promising harsher penalties against asylum seekers who repeatedly attempt to enter the U.S. between ports of entry.
