Tombstone will be a riot of activity June 30-July 1.
The town too tough to die will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1993 film “Tombstone†with a cast reunion.
Of course, cast reunion sounds low-key compared to what’s really happening over the weekend:
- An auction of movie memorabilia.
- Tours through the Mescal movie set where “Tombstone†was filmed.
- Panel discussions with the actors, a costume contest, and a chance to meet the cast members at various sites, including where it all got started: The O.K. Corral.
Among the cast members scheduled to help mark the reunion are Michael Biehn, who played Johnny Ringo; Peter Sherayko, Texas Jack Vermillion; Dana Wheeler-Nicholson, Mattie Earp; Joanna Pacula, Kate; Frank Stallone, Ed Bailey; Sandy Gibbons, Father Feeney; Catherine Hardwicke, production designer on the film (she is now a director — “Thirteen†and “Twilight†are among her credits); Billy Zane, who played Mr. Fabian in “Tombstone,†and Bob Misiorowski, who was a producer of the film.
